Lowensvlei grows the leaucadendrons Blush, Laurel Yellow and Disco Date.
Laurel yellow can be snipped to create a lime green rose effect which adds an element of freshness and interest to any design. Disco date is so called because it changes colour as the season progresses – from green, to plum, to a soft yellow tinged with red. Lowensvlei’s Disco Date was used at the Chelsea Flower Show for three exhibitions.
These three products are sold individually, or as part of the very popular ‘Filler Mix’ box which holds ± 300 stems of seasonal leaucadendrons and waxes. The ‘Filler mix’ box is a favourite of florists because it gives a wide mix of long-lasting fillers with different textures, colours, and forms.
