Pokon Orchid Growing Medium is specially formulated for orchids, using high-quality natural materials with an open, airy structure to help roots breathe and develop properly.

This 5L bag is ideal for repotting orchids at home, refreshing tired potting mix, or improving drainage around established orchid roots.

How to Use

Use a clean orchid pot with drainage holes.
Add a drainage layer, such as clay pebbles or hydrokorrels, at the bottom of the pot.
Add a layer of Pokon Orchid Growing Medium.
Remove the orchid from its old pot and gently clear away old medium.
Trim any dead or damaged roots.
Place the orchid in the pot and fill around the roots with fresh orchid medium.
Water well and allow excess water to drain away.

When Should You Repot Orchids?

Repot orchids approximately every 18–24 months, or sooner if the old medium has broken down, smells sour, holds too much water, or the plant has outgrown its pot. Orchids prefer a snug pot, so avoid moving them into a container that is much too large.
