🌱 Growing Tips

🕰️ Planting Time:
Spring (August–October), after frost has passed and soils are warming up.

📍 Position:
Full sun with good air circulation. Great for wildflower-style plantings, cottage gardens, and mixed borders.

🌾 Soil:
Light, well-draining soil enriched with compost or organic matter. Slightly acidic to neutral pH preferred.

💧 Watering:
Water regularly in dry conditions. Keep moist but not soggy. Avoid overhead watering where possible.

🍽️ Feeding:
Feed every 2–3 weeks during flowering with a potassium-rich fertiliser (3:1:5 or 5:10:10).

✂️ Care & Maintenance:
Remove faded blooms to encourage continuous flowering. Lift and store tubers in winter where heavy frost occurs.

🛏️ Overwintering:
In frost-free regions, tubers can stay in the soil. Elsewhere, lift and store in dry peat or vermiculite in a cool, dark place.
