🕰️ Planting Time:
Spring to early summer (September–November). For extended flowering, stagger plantings every 2 weeks through the season.

📍 Position:
Full sun, sheltered from strong wind if possible. Performs well in most provinces, including Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, Western Cape, and Free State.

🌾 Soil:
Loose, fertile, well-draining soil enriched with compost. Avoid heavy clay or overly wet soils.

Feed with a balanced fertiliser once leaves are up, then switch to a potassium-rich feed when buds appear to encourage stronger spikes and colour.
